Pushkin Hills

The Mikhailovskoe Museum Complex (also called the Pushkin Hills) situated in Pskovian Region is a place of pilgrimage of all lovers of Russian poetry. Alexander Pushkin, a great Russian poet, lived here. The surroundings are extremely picturesque here, a typical Russian landscape: the Sorot River, an old mill, a three-century oak in the park of Trigorskoe, shady alleys… On the hill near the walls of the Svyatogorsky Monastery, Pushkin was buried in 1837.
